Marketing Lesson From The Farm Byron Bay
Hi, Liza here from Content Maximiser. I was at The Farm at Byron Bay today, and I just saw all the signage they had throughout the whole property, and I was really impressed. And it reminded me that they have actually practised a great marketing lesson.
One thing that I notice around the property is the clarity and the quantity of signage that they have throughout the whole property. What they’re practising is one of the most important marketing principle, which is to have clear CTA, which is also known as a call-to-action.
So how do you apply what The Farm has done to your website?
So when you arrive at The Farm, you will see their signage is everywhere. So it becomes really clear where you should go if you want to go to different parts of The Farm because it is a very big property. They grow their own produce, they’ve got restaurants, cafes, bakeries. They got a little farm and then you can go and actually look at macadamia nuts and everything they grow. It’s really, really well thought through and set. But the thing is you don’t get lost even though it’s such a big property, and its reason is because of the signages that they have and how clear they are.
So you want to apply the same as when someone goes to your website, especially your home page.
When people arrive at your home page, you want to make it really clear and have really great images, text, icons, to direct people on where to go, whether it is the services page of whether it is the case study page, or gallery, or contact. They want to learn about you, they want to learn about your team. Just make it really clear on both the home page as well as your menu so that when people arrive, they don’t need to figure where they need to go and it becomes very clear and easy for them.
